CNC Machinist - R&D

• Location is Royal Park, SA
• Ongoing Temp contract to go Perm
• Rates is $41.00 to $45.00 p/h + Super
• Tuesday - Friday (7am -5pm)work days. With Mondays off! 38 Hrs a week

Are you keen in doing Research and Development (R&D) work? Our client, located in Royal Park, Adelaide, is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. This company specialises in designing and manufacturing poly pipe welding equipment.

You will be part of the R&D team - responsible for creating, testing, manufacturing parts by setting up and operating CNC machines to turn, bore, mill, or drill metal components.

Responsibilities:

• Creating, manufacture, testing components
• Load and program CNC machines for operations such as turning, boring, milling, or drilling metal parts.
• Set machine controls to adjust tool positioning, cutting depth, speed, and feed.
• Operate machinery to ensure optimal performance while following OH&S guidelines and safety protocols.
• Read and interpret job specifications and translate them into machine commands.

Min Requirements:

• Australian Trade-tested qualification (Cert 3), in Fitting, Machining, tool making or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Reliable and committed to workplace safety.
